In Mulieribus is Latin for “among women”, and here in Oregon, is the name of a women’s vocal ensemble “dedicated to the strengthening of community through the art of music” and specializes in works written before 1750. As the pandemic turned their usual concert series upside down, they realized that online presentations for their programming this year might have opportunities for new collaborations. The last concert premiered April 17, 2021, and featured a new way of looking at my still life photographs through the eyes of motion animator and calligraphy artist Marilyn Zornado, and animator Phil Jack. It’s available to view now on youtube. The music is wonderful! I’m thrilled to be a part of this project led by the visionary Anna Song.
